The cotton seeds have been planted and new plants have popped up from the North of the Island to the South. By the end of November you’ll see the beautiful, yellow cotton flowers like these.

 

 

Unfortunately you won’t know where to find these cotton fields because their blossoms are almost identical to the Okra and Sorrel which are blooming as well.

Starting in late December the fields are a sea of white cotton bolls.

 

 

But this won’t last for a very long time as the harvest will start near the beginning of March 2012, and ‘ginning’ will commence shortly after that time.
